Diana Ladio is a Nashville based 5-string fiddler; solo, with the Elders, Moxie Strings and now with Telluride Bluegrass Festival line-up for this year, Brendan Forrest and his band. She is also a writer, and educator and composes music for television. With the Moxie Strings, whom she toured with for over 16 years she was awarded a Billboard #1 in the Classical Crossover category. Since 2015 she has toured as the fiddler for Celtic rock outfit, The Elders, and with both bands she has toured internationally.
Diana is a dedicated educator, and has taught workshops in hundreds of schools nationwide, many of which provided by her nonprofit, The MOX Project, which offers musical opportunities to underserved students and communities.
Diana is an avid emotional health advocate and mentor, and writes about her experiences as a traveler and musician in her blog, drriift, and for Strings Magazine.
